Peranbu:- Peranbu is a uocoming Tamil drama film written and directed by "Thanga Meengal" fame Ram and produced by P. L. Thenappan. The film features Malayalam mega star Mammoty, Anjali and Baby Sadhana in the lead roles. The movie also includes Anjali Ameer, a transsexual women from Kerala. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for the movie Peranbu was premired at 47th International Film Festival Rotterdam, Netherlands on 27th January 2018, where in the Audience Award the film was voted to 20th out of 187 films completed. This Asian premiere of the movie was at the 20th Shanghai International Film Festival, China on 17th June 2018.
The film shows a life of a taxi driver(Mammoty) who works in abroad and his physically challenged daughter, who gets into puberty. The family stays away from the city to avoid any conflict from the city. But even there they felt that its not safe.
